THE TRAIN - Short Treatment
On the final journey of the legendary Majestic Imperator Train de Luxe, Europe's elite gathers for an invitation—only farewell: aristocrats, diplomats, businessmen, journalists - and a few passengers who do not belong on any guest list.
The train's owner, Leo Goldberg, has planned a spectacle: a glamorous show and private auction held on board while the train travels from Vienna to Budapest and Prague. The idea is simple - sell the Majestic to the highest bidder. But this train is more than a luxury replica. It is a perfect convert platform: secure private carriages, controlled access, international borders, plausible anonymity. And, as it transpires, much more.
That is why the auction attracts attention far beyond collectors and investors.
A ruthless Russian agent travelling under a flawless cover receives a new mission. Two MI6 operatives take a compartment, posing as a honeymoon couple. A former British special forces officer boards the train with his young daughter, hoping for a quiet journey. Three Chinese agents, disguised as harmless passengers, quietly rig the rain with cameras, bugs, and hidden surveillance. A profiler invited by the train owner watches everything - and trusts no one.
As the Majestic moves through the night, the polished elegance begins to fracture. Behind fashion shows, champagne dinners and polite conversations, an invisible battle unfolds: surveillance against counter-surveillance, manipulation against instinct, and professional killer against people who still have something to lose.
The closer the train comes to its final destination, the higher the stakes become - and the fewer exits remain.
